5.5mm x 2.1mm Barrel Plugs: Most popular... Boss, Danelectro, Prescription, Guyatone, Maxon, Teese RMC's, Line6 ToneCore (not modelers, see below), late model MXR, most Ibanez, most Dunlop, most Fulltone, newer DOD, some Morley and many others.

3.5mm (1/8") Mini Plugs: Pro-Co Rat, some Electro-Harmonix, Klon, Lovetone, older DOD, some early MXR and others.

5.5mm x 2.5mm Barrel Plugs: These look very similar the popular barrel plug listed above however these have a slightly larger center hole. Used on some Line6 Modelers, some Electro Harmonix, some wireless units and others. The Line 6 modeling pedals (DL4, MM4, DM4, AM4, and FM4 only) require a reversed polarity cable. Electro Harmonix uses this for certain pedals only.

9 Volt Battery Clip: 9 volt effects that do not have an AC adapter jack such as some older pedals and some newer boutique pedals. Use with any effect that has a 9 volt battery clip including older Ibanez, older MXR, Z-Vex and others.

* Note: The right angle versions of the "Voodoo Lab" brand power cables noted with a [ * ] have a slightly larger diameter on the plastic handle of the 5.5mm x 2.1mm plugs that may interfere when trying to insert it into a recessed jack. The remedy would be to trim or whittle down the handle diameter slightly with a utility knife so it will fit into a recessed hole. We found this to be true on the RMC wahs, for example. There may be others but the fix is pretty easy.
IEC Power Cords The Pedal Power supplies come with a 6' main detachable AC power cord. We have both longer and shorter cords available as well as a right angle version. Standard female IEC connector on one end and a grounded 3-prong plug on the other end. The standard IEC connector fits the Voodoo Lab power supplies and many amplifiers, computers and much more. Double Amperage Y -type Extension Cable - 7" Long. Use to connect two output jacks into one and double the amperage. There is an in-line jack on the other end to connect (extend) any single Voodoo Lab type power cable. The 2 output voltages and DIP switch settings must be identical.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This cable has been requested often and is used but it is not openly recommended by Voodoo Lab. This is the only cable here not recommended by Voodoo Lab. Use at your own discretion.

Reversed Polarity - 5.5mm x 2.5mm plug. Uses 2 outputs and sums their voltage. Typically used to power many pedals at 24VDC and some at 18VDC, center positive. Electro Harmonix: Not for the newer Electro Harmonix Memory Man with Hazari. That unit uses a standard 9 volt 2.1mm barrel plug like a Boss pedal. 24 VDC: Use outputs 1-4 with both DIP switches on the "NON-normal" ACA setting to get 12 volts from each. Electro Harmonix pedals include Deluxe Memory Man, Stereo Memory Man, Q-Tron, Q-Tron+, Micro Synthesizer, Bass Micro Synthesizer, Stereo Polychorus, Deluxe Electric Mistress, Worm. 18 VDC: Set both DIP switches to the "normal" setting to get 9 volts from each. Extra Long Power cables: Made with a heavier duty round cable. Priced from $18.85 to $21.95. Choose the shortest length practical to minimize voltage drop but it's typically not an issue. For reference, a 15' cable at 100 mA's will drop < 0.1 volts and 30' cable < 0.2 volts. Less amps, less drop. Available lengths (in feet): 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30. Production lead time is about 3-5 business days.
