Wrap just about anything
An ideal covering to bundle and protect all types of cables. This isn’t the cheap stuff you’ll find at most hardware stores. Ours is a thicker, heavier duty wrap than what is available elsewhere. Make your own snakes of any length. Plugs can exit the wrap at any point so your snake can look more like a spider if you want. Easy to install, reusable, light weight and UV resistant for extended use in adverse conditions. Great cable management! Color: Black.
To make your “snake” flexible and allow it to be easily coiled, the wires inside the spiral wrap should be twisted a little bit. You might loose about 4% of the total cable length when your wires are twisted in this manner. For reference, while bundling 5 cables with 1/4″ spiral wrap, add 30% to the length you order to obtain the desired wrapped length. In this example, if you want to wrap a 10′ section, order 13′ of 1/4″ spiral wrap. This should allow the 10′ wrapped section and a few inches on each end to anchor the spiral wrap on a single cable.
These 9 cables are wrapped with 3/8″ spiral for reference however any of the sizes could wrap this bundle. Notice the white cable on top. There are a few wraps at the beginning around this cable alone to anchor it before you wrap the bundle. Finish wrapping by doing that on the other end too.
Select the length you want in feet as the quantity. Six (6) inch samples are shown here for reference. 1/4″ on top, 3/8″ in center and 1/2″ on bottom. The 1/4″ spiral wrap is by far the most common and will wrap several cables.
